Influence of root secretions of 22 corn hybrids and some other oil crops on seeds emergence of eight O. Cumana populations was studied. Broomrape seeds from different populations appeared to have different susceptibility to effect of root secretions of corn hybrids and some other oil crops, and it is not connected with broomrape virulence. Broomrape sprouts are able to penetrate into corn roots, however, they perish in skin of cortex. Corn hybrids Arobase, ZPSK 341, PR39R 86 are the best for usage in provocative sowings for broomrape seeds elimination in soil. Meanwhile, hybrids act selectively, thus, it is necessary to conduct preliminary test to observe how their roots exudates influence on germination ability of broomrape seeds from each certain field.
