The article presents a description of experimental study of Buryat-Russian bilingual students' speech in the course of acquiring English intonation. It is focused on some prosodic features of the English narrative affected by a number of interfering factors of both the native (Buryat) and non-native (Russian) languages in the context of conventional multilingualism.
