Specific spatial organization of a spruce and fir forest with large ferns in upper Petchora is analyzed. Gaps cover over 55% of the sample plot as the analysis of 1058 tree crowns shows. Complicated spatial organization of a tree synusia including alone standing trees, even-aged and uneven-aged parcels is revealed.
