Contemporary spatial policy in the Netherlands

The article is devoted to spatial planning in the Netherlands. This type of policy is especially significant in the country. In conditions of limited physical space, it is necessary to find solutions for the construction of housing, transport, energy, and telecommunications infrastructure. It is shown how the central government develops plans for the isolation of the functions of individual spaces, designates areas for promising economic directions. The author concludes that for the Russian spatial policy, the experience of the Netherlands can be used in the areas of improving the attractiveness of economic and political spaces, integrating various physical infrastructures, and coordinating the interests of various economic entities.
