Spatial and mythological categories of Dzhambudvipa in the political, social and the soteriological aspirations of the Mongolian people

The article considers Jambudvipa and its categorical meanings on the material of the Mongolian peoples, which have always been of particular interest to researchers dealing with spatial, temporal and mythological representations of the Indian, Tibetan and Mongolian ethnoses about the world where people live, that is samsara. Buddhist cosmological and cosmogenetic ideas in the context of Jambudvipa adapt not only the regional and local cults of the Mongolian metaethnic community, but also transform their traditional worldview as a whole.
