The paper treats some issues of interrelations between meanings and text-building means as demonstrated through the implementation of the spatial relations in artistic texts. Spatial relations can be treated as means of textual space formation if regarded as meta-means of text-building. Text spatial organization has a genre determining potential and can be regarded as meta-means correlating with meta-meanings.
