Space and time in the philosophy of the icon of priest Pavel Florensky

Through the openness of the space of the icon, a call for salvation is made, forming the depth of the prayer dialogue between man and God. Florensky noted that in close connection with the transformed space there is also the transformed time. Iconography is a special type of transformed time, changed by spirituality, deeply religious sense of the world. Time, connecting with the prayerful image, is transformed, becomes a true time, spiritually transformed and thus reveals to man the true nature of the religious relationship between man and time. In the philosophy of the icon of priest Pavel Florensky formed a specific understanding of the historicism of the icon, responding to the real- historical changes of the era.
