The space of culture of modern education: philosophical and pedagogical foundations

The article discusses the crisis of domestic education. The authors note that modern education is not epistemic, not universal, but polytechnic one. Excessive rationalization of education, in which the translation of ready-made scientific knowledge plays an important role, replaces the integrative system of knowledge with a simple set of technical skills and abilities. The old idea of education as a kind of system concept, close in meaning to ideology and ideological system, should be replaced by a new understanding of education as a culture system of a single dialogue space. The authors note a special role in the history of the European education system of the school of education, which has a long pedagogical tradition since the time of ancient philosophical schools. Representatives of the school of education in the process of teaching and learning develop intuition, imagination and creative imagination. Most fully in our time, the ideas of the democratic school of enlightenment began to sound in neo-Kantian pedagogy. Obviously, modern educational policies should not be implemented specifically in one or two, often opposite to each other, strategic programs, but exclusively in a number of creative methodological schools and directions capable of healthy competition.
