Cultural importance of conceptual judgment of the Soviet reality, in particular the formation period of the 1930-s is very actual now. The philo-sophical reflection over disputable, from the point of view of interpreters, and difficult years of Stalin mode is necessary for national consciousness. Literary texts of contemporaries are capable of representing the reality not controversial to historical data, but vision of the artist, person. In the article the most resonant text written in the 30th years to the USSR - A. Platonov's "Ditch" is considered. The traditional judgment of the story as memorial services to the Soviet mode is reconsidered, and its new interpretation as an exit out of death limits to revival is offered. To the main character the status of the conductor on which contrast there is an accurate differentiation of spaces is attributed: on the one hand, the future as lives, on the other, the spaces of stagnation, the ditch as death. In the interpretation of the text cul-tural "baggage" of the Soviet Russia of the 30-s is considered. The judgment of traditionally pessimistic text is positively carried out that, in turn, radi-cally changes the representation by A. Platonov of the reality which contem-porary he was.
