The Kuban Orthodox abodes education and charity activities in 2 nd half of the XIXth — begining of the XX centuries

This article describes the Kuban monasteries aktivities (in secon half of the XIXth — the beginning of the XXth centuries). Research based on studies of the Kuban abodes and their educational an charity activities. The issue of the number of monasteries and their influence on the development of the Southern part of Russian Empire, prompting the reconciliation of the Cossacks and the natives are touched upon. Evaluation of Orthodox monasteries activities in the Kuban within the designated chronological time frame made it possible to reveal their value in the growth and development of the region to show their influence on the spiritual and moral state of people.
