Countering the activities of destructive organizations of criminal direction (sect), coming on the personality and rights of citizens

The article discusses the criminological aspects of crimes related to the creation and participation in a non-profit organization encroaching on the personality and rights of citizens. A definition is given, characteristic features of such organizations are considered, their classification is given. The causes of the emergence and functioning of destructive organizations (sects) are analyzed, their criminal activity and their relationship with the phenomenon of suicide are shown. Considerable attention is paid to the personality of the organizer, active participants, adherents of such groups and communities. Measures of preventive and corrective action are highlighted.
