Countering corruption behavior in the higher education system as an element of national security

The article analyzes the corrupt behavior in the higher education system as posing a threat to the national, economic and legal security of the Russian state. An opinion was expressed about the need to carry out propaganda, educational work in relation to students of higher educational institutions in order to form a high level of legal culture, an intolerant attitude towards corruption. It was proposed to amend the sanctions of some articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, increasing liability for committing corruption crimes, as well as to amend the procedure for maintaining the register of persons dismissed due to loss of confidence, including in it educators involved in corruption schemes.
