Countering the legalization of revenues received by criminal ways

This article is devoted to the consideration of the problem of combating the laundering of proceeds from crime. The author considers the essence of money laundering, as well as international systems of combating money laundering - the FATF and the EGMONT group. The essence of money laundering presupposes careful concealment of crime act from law-enforcement and controlling bodies. The article analyzes the legal regulation of AML / CFT in the Russian Federation and gives some recommendations in this area.
