Introduction: the paper examines the changes in regulatory legal acts in the field of labor legislation during the Great Patriotic War, analyzes the forms of struggle of law enforcement agencies of the republic with violators of labor discipline. The author notes the role of labor law during the war years, in the context of the mobilization of the country's population to fight the enemy. The need to preserve and build up the country's industrial potential in the face of fascist aggression caused the use of administrative and command management methods in the field of labor relations, which means that the role of repressive state bodies (police, prosecutor's office, courts) in enforcing laws and bringing to justice violators of labor legislation increased.
