Contradictions of conservative development projects in modern Russia

The relevance of the study is determined by the need to consider objectively the potential for the implementation of conservative development projects which have been growing in popularity and importance in the face of social and economic and foreign policy crisis. The novelty of the research is explained by the need to create an effective management system capable of properly meeting the challenges and threats of our time, which involves protective ideas and conservative ideology when devising modern social and political development programs for the country and society. The paper presents the main conservative concepts of Russia’s development and assesses the objective possibility of implementing them today. The research deals with the main properties of the current social and political model of the country and society and examines the objective factors and contexts that contribute to the development of Russia’s political system. The study describes the basic points of the conservative ideology, analyzes the concepts introduced by adherents to left- and right-wing conservatism, and focuses on the potential of the country’s conservative development programs. The authors note the contradictions and risks of conservative social and political development projects of the country and society and provide recommendations for countering the threats to the stable functioning of Russia’s social and political system.
