Contradictions in the goal-setting of the activities of cultural and leisure type institutions: current state

The functions of mass culture are partially consistent with the educational mission of the state, and partially contradict it. The article attempts to identify this contradiction and propose a strategy to eliminate it based on modern Russian legistation. The removal of this contradiction is impossible without awareness of the need to the strengthen the educational component of the activities of cultural and leisure institutions.
