Confrontation of China with the USA: "Currency war" Or competitive struggle?

The article is dedicated to the issue of present day economic confrontation of China with the USA, which is sometimes called "currency war". The notion of "currency war", methods of its prosecution are defined in the article, criteria, which make the base of defining the relation between the states as hostilities, are distinguished. The reasons for confrontation of China with the USA are investigated, the role of Chinese currency in the world currency system are given thorough examination which leads to the conclusion about lack of "currency war" indications in the relationship between China and the USA.
