Confrontation at the Caspy region: competition for recources of the XXI century

The article considers competition among states and global companies for extraction of resources in the Caspian Sea during the early 90-ies, after the disintegration USSR. The author pnmerly analyses attitude of the nearby states of the oil resources of the Caspian Sea. Besides, the author examines strategies of other states and petroleum and gas corporation in distribution of shares in the third largest reservation of the global oil.
