Prototypical and nonprototypical situations of the edification and their realization in a fairy tale

This article focuses on the linguistic understanding of the multidimensional concept «edification». This article seeks to examine the prototypical and non-prototypical situations of the edification in the German language consciousness on the basis of selected prototypical attributes. The research is pursued on the material of German folk tales in this paper.
