Prototypes of new technologies for development of the mineral raw materials complex of the Timan-North Urals region

Urgent problems of technology of mineral raw materials of the Timan-North Urals region are considered. The role of technological developments in the development and effective use of mineral resources is shown. The prospects of development of coal industry connected with essential increase in depth of benefication of coals and creation of the coal chemical productions are substantiated. The possibility of receipt of hyper coals from coals of various technological groups of the Pechora basin is for the first time proved. Brown coal and oil shales are perspective raw materials for industrial development. Their development will promote creation of new industries in the region. Possibilities of expansion of the mineral resources potential and increase in efficiency of use of aluminum raw materials are shown. New methods of desiliconization of bauxites and leucoxene concentrates, obtaining of microporous titanosilicates, photocatalysts and nanotubes from titanium raw materials are proposed. Production of zeolitic raw materials having a wide range of applications - from sorption of radionuclides to obtaining of new heat-insulating materials is perspective. The possibility of production of synthetic zeolites from fly ashes of the thermal power plants is shown. Development of fields of high-quality carbonate raw materials is of great importance for the region. The resource base of chemically pure limestones is estimated, the original organic and mineral composites with increased content of mineral substance being in demand in pulp and paper industry, construction, medicine are developed.The necessity of development of researches in the field of technology of mineral raw materials and creation of the regional geotechnological center is substantiated.
