Provincial town as a space of personal self-realization

The article presents the results of the study dealing with the specifics of self-realization in a provincial town. Using the dialectical method, the author shows that the possibilities of personal fulfilment in the provincial town are limited. A person involved in the life of the town, seeks external fulfilment approved by the society in prejudice of the internal fulfilment conducive to genuine improvement, and as a result, partly loses one’s “self".
