The analysis of legal researches in the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) and legal norms related to the problem of provocation of crimes is carried out in the article. The results of the scientific discussion on the legal grounds for exemption from criminal lia-bility of such persons, whose actions are evaluated as a provocation in the process of performance of the task of disclosing the crime, are reflected.
