In this article, the principles and peculiarities of the formation of the subsistence minimum in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are considered. Normative and legal acts regulating the formation of the subsistence minimum are also given, the dynamics of the subsistence minimum was also examined and a comparative analysis was carried out for 2014, 2015 and 2016.
