Pseudo-Turkic words of Arab origin borrowed in the pre-Pushkin era of the new Russian literary language formation (XVIII - early XIX centuries) in linguographic, historical and etymological aspects

In the article the pseudo-Turkic words, exotisms of Arab origin, are determined and analyzed; they have penetrated into the Russian literary speech of the pre-Pushkin era (XVIII – early XIX centuries) through the Turkic environment and have received reflection in the dictionaries of the considered time. The words adopted by means of the Kumyk and Azerbaijani (Ramazan and Naib), Turkish (sheikh-ul-Islam, muezzin) and other Turkic (madrasah and sherif) languages and connected mainly with the religion of Islam have been revealed.
