Psychiatry and narcology in the Kemerovo region: stages of formation and development (to the 80th anniversary of the psychiatric and 45th anniversary of the drug treatment services of the Kuzbass)

The article contains information about the history of the development of psychiatric and narcological services in the Kemerovo region, which in 2019 will be 80 and 40 years old, respectively. The psychiatric and narcological services of Kuzbass at the present stage are characterized by a multilevel system of treatment and rehabilitation of patients based on ethical principles. Personalized psycho-rehabilitation paths for the management of patients are being developed, systematically determined by their special psychosocial characteristics. The emphasis is on the patient’s return to society through the expansion of community-based forms of care and the introduction of low-cost technologies. The development of innovative rehabilitation methods continues as the main vector in the modern aid infrastructure. The principles of continuity, interaction and optimization dictate the integration of psychiatric and narcological services with other social institutions of society.
