The biological activity of all organs and systems in the human body depends on endogenic biological rhythms. Consequently, in our opinion, the mental activity is also connected with day-night rhythms. In order to prove or to explode this statement we carried out the research on the mental activity of the 6-grade students and on their chronotype specifics. In contrast with adults, children significantly differ in indices of volume, stability and distribution of attention. In general, attentive children have better academic results, but the academic performance of inattentive children is more connected with indices of voluntary attention, especially with its distribution. According to the physiological research data, the biological activity of all organs in the human body depends on endogenic biological rhythms. Consequently, in our opinion, the mental activity is also connected with day-night rhythms. In order to prove or to explode this statement we carried out the research on the mental activity of the 6-grade students, Chaikovsky, Perm Krai. The physchophysical research involving the 6-grade students, instructional monitoring and analysis of academic activity in major subjects showed that the mental indices are to the great extent associated with the chronotype of a child.
