Бесплатный доступ

The article considers the ways the main material substances - time and space - are percepted visually. The examples in the Russian and English languages help to prove that psychophysiological peculiarities of visual perception underlie two different types of text - descriptive and narrative. We have attempted to explain, that the objects of our world percepted by central type of viosion are projected into descriptive type of text; while the motion, as well as any kind of change, percepted by peripheral type of vision is transmitted by narrative text. As a result, it is concluded that psychophysiological peculiarities of visual perception can be considered as one of the principles for verifying texts of the ascertaining type.
