Today, the COVID-19 pandemic remains one of the pressing health problems, negatively affecting the health ofthe population around the world, and therefore it is necessary to coordinate the international response, taking intoaccount the recommended coping strategies and informed awareness, which will ensure high resilience to the adverseeffects of the pandemic and reducing the risk of developing psychopathological symptoms. In all countries, researchis ongoing on the impact of the pandemic on the mental health of the population. It was revealed that social isolation, death of relatives, uncertainty of the future, fear of illness in the aggregate are risk factors for the development of psychogenic disorders, as well as deterioration of the mental state in case of already existing disorders. Restrictivemeasures related to COVID-19 have affected the pattern of substance use in most countries of the world, which canlead to additional threats to the mental and physical health of the population. Objective: to study the relationship ofthe influence of stress factors on the formation of psychogenic disorders, such as anxiety, depression, post-traumaticstress disorder, in persons with substance dependence syndrome during a pandemic. Material. The results of a questionnaire survey of male and female patients (n=86), aged 20 to 60 years, who underwent inpatient treatment at theAltai Regional Narcological Dispensary (Barnaul) in February - September 2021. Methods. Mississippi PTSD Scale,Beck Anxiety and Depression Scale. Statistical calculations were performed using Microsoft Office Excel 2013, EpiInfo 7.2. Conclusion. About a third (29.7%) of those surveyed experienced the negative psychological impact of theCOVID-19 pandemic. Traumatic stress is caused by a high intensity of experiences due to the threat of infection, fearof serious consequences and death, the destructive impact of the media on public consciousness without evidence. The subjects who are afraid of death and are convinced of the destructive effects of COVID-19 on physical and mental health are more likely to have manifestations of anxiety, depression, and psychogenic disorders. Since people withPTSD are more prone to various maladaptive forms of behavior more than others, they primarily need social andmedical and psychological support. Patients with drug addiction are at high risk for the development of psychogenicmental disorders during the COVID-19 pandemic, which must be taken into account when carrying out comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation measures.
