Psycho-emotional state of female police officers when mastering service weapon

The system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is more frequently staffed with female police officers, the requirements set to the subject “Firearms training” within female officers' professional training being the same to the general norms. Meanwhile dealing with emotions to the stress there is both common and individual specifics of revealing emotions according to gender peculiarities. Emotions directly influence the learning process and in the course of studies can capture the marksman due to the personal qualities. The stressful situation affects several levels of self-regulation: physiological as an adaptation mark of the process in the body, psychic as actualization of necessary sensor information and personal as a regulatory system which creates, self-identifies and develops. The authors suppose that life satisfaction as a mark of different life aspects which reflects the quality of self-regulation and positive emotions restrains development of situational stress reaction and that must be considered in law enforcement officers' professional training to increase the level of mastering firearms.
