Psycho-culturological perspective of regional mentality research

Regional aspects of the phenomenon of the mentality are considered in the article. Requirements of the present day human being in the adequate self-identification are analysed after the example of the Samara Region culture. The idea of the regional mentality is specialised by the notion «Homo Sapience».
