Introduction. The study attempts to determine the psychological projection of intuition as an irrational form of cognition in the formation and application of norms of customary law. Customary law is a set of customs, household rules, confessional, social relations between people implemented in the norms of behavior. It is customary law that most effectively determines the relations in the traditional social communities of small indigenous minorities of the North. The system of customary law is not formalized and does not have the character of clear codification in legal documents. Its regulating action is based on the traditionally established principles of collective unconscious, acquired by each resident of the territory in the process of exteriorization of social experience. The aim is to study the projection of intuition on the formation and acquisition by the subject of the norms of customary law.
