Psychological aspects of adaptation of convicts in conditions of execution of punishment

In the article the processes of adaption and readaption of the convicts in the conditions of the execution of the punishment are considered and analyzed. The features and the directions of activity focused on increasing level of correction and reeducation of convicts are distinguished. The basic problems of penitentiary psychology in the field of correction influence are defined. The characteristic of adaption processes of the convicts are given and the main moments of realization of the psychological support of personality and behavior of convict are defined.
