This scientific article explores the psychological and educational aspects of one of the ancient traditions of the Kyrgyz people the custom of "pouring water on hands." Although this tradition may appear to be a hygienic procedure, in reality, it plays a significant role in the development of a child’s social, moral, and personal identity. The article analyzes the structure of the custom, the order of its performance, its historical and cultural features, and its psychological impact on the child’s consciousness. It also discusses modern strategies for preserving this tradition and integrating it into educational and practical contexts.
