Statement of the problem. The article is devoted to the study of psychological characteristics of teenagers, authors of destructive graffiti. The problem of physical, mental and spiritual health has always been the most important factors in the existence of a nation. The mental and spiritual health of young people is always in the center of attention of specialists in various fields due to the complexity and diversity of the process of personal development. In particular, these may be delinquent manifestations in the format of destructive graffiti as a means of conveying emotions and self-expression. The purpose of the article is to study the psychological characteristics of teenagers, authors of destructive graffiti. Methodology (materials and methods). The methodology of the research consists of the analysis of materials of scientific research works on the problem of graffiti and psychology of deviant behavior in adolescents. The following diagnostic tools were used: the Hands test by E. Wagner; the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire, BPAQ, as adapted by S.N. Yeniklopov, etc.; the Style of Self-Regulation of Behavior questionnaire (SSPM-2020); the author’s questionnaire, and analysis of respondents’ graffiti photographs. The sample consisted of 15 young men aged 16 to 18 years. Descriptive statistics and Spearman correlation analysis were used in the analysis of empirical materials. Research results. It was revealed that the behavior of adolescent authors of destructive graffiti is characterized by a low level of self-control, of the ability to adequately express their feelings and emotions, as well as a high level of aggression. Adolescents who wrote destructive graffiti showed a greater number of negative correlations between the overall aggression score and the assessment of results, modeling of conditions, flexibility and reliability of self-regulation. It has been experimentally confirmed that the program of psychological and pedagogical correction of the behavior of adolescents, authors of destructive graffiti, using the street art method allows optimizing the process of formation and development of self-regulation skills. Conclusion. The obtained data expand the understanding of the psychological characteristics of teenagers, authors of destructive graffiti. It is concluded that the results of the study indicate the need to develop preventive work with teenagers, authors of destructive graffiti.
