In the first year of study in higher educational institution, the student-athlete is faced with a number of emotional and psychological problems. The coaches face two difficult interrelated tasks: management of athlete’s socialization process and his personality formation. In this article, we are developed by basic work principles with student-athletes, past approbation in practice.
