Psychological features of attitude towards a disease

This article discusses the results of an empirical study of the psychological characteristics of attitude toward a disease, performed in 2018. In the diagnostic section, conducted on the basis of "Main Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise in the Ulyanovsk Region", the role of a number of characteristics of the worldview and self-relation of patients with vegetative dysfunctions was considered. Research methods allowed the authors to identify qualitative and quantitative indicators of the characteristics of the attitude toward the disease among men and women. The conducted research is exploratory, that is, according to V. N. Druzhinin, it was carried out in order to clarify the problem, more correctly set the tasks and put forward sound hypotheses. The authors assumed that in the pattern of the attitude toward the disease, both the individual psychological and socio-psychological characteristics of the subjects will appear.
