The researcher explores psychological features of developing mental pictures of movements while firing a combat pistol from the perspective of the motor activity theory. The article presents the results of the experimental research of a shooter’s attributes. These attributes are necessary for successful marksmanship. The author develops recommendations for their usage in the learning process.
