The factors which influence the formation of maladaptive behaviour of AIDS-infected convicts are under consideration. The article lists the problems the psychologist faces when dealing with this category of convicts. The author concludes that one of the reasons hindering the convict’s correction is lack of interaction between the psychologist and the assigned doctor.
