Psychological problems of motivation of future professional activity of university students

The empirical study presents the comparative results of diagnostics of motivation of students of different courses and specialties of a transport university with a difference of one semester. The dynamic features of the groups of leading motives of educational activity: communicative, motives for avoiding failure, prestige, professional motives, creative self-realization, educational, cognitive and social motives are revealed. The problems of motivation of students of engineering and humanitarian specialties are identified.
