The author makes a theoretical analysis of scientific approaches to the problem of psychological conditions of functional reliability. The article points out the interdisciplinary character of the problem under consideration. The focus is made on the problems of constructing a psychological model used for providing this kind of reliability. The author gives his own version of the model of psychological conditions for providing functional reliability of a law enforcement officer.
