The article deals with the peculiarities of the professional self-determination in the context of the psychological and pedagogical class. The author analyses the significance of the professional self-determination in the development of the students’ personality and their professional potential. In the study there is emphasized the history of the establishment of the phenomenon of the psychological and pedagogical class, there is considered the role of the psychological and pedagogical activities in the contribution of the professional self-determination, the author underlines the advantages of the complex approach to education.
