The article is devoted to the study of the conditions for the formation of professional self-determination of high school students. It reports the degree of formation and understanding of the choice of a future profession by schoolchildren. The author believes that the realization of professional self-determination is possible at school in a holistic, structured and proven system, which is aimed at career guidance work with teachers. This topic is relevant for all schoolchildren. Everyone has to choose their future life, who they want to become and what they want to do, because the correction of a person's professional activity takes place throughout their subsequent professional life.
