Psychological and pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional self-determination among high school students

The article is devoted to the study of professional self-determination of high school students. It reports the main directions and conditions for the formation of professional self-determination. The author believes that at the present time of economic and political instability in society, a person is forced to rely on himself, it is necessary to be mobile and flexible, able to quickly and correctly navigate the general nature of any specialty and determine his suitability for it. Ignorance of the content of professional activity and, accordingly, dissatisfaction with the received specialty, in turn, is one of the reasons for staff turnover, low labor productivity, and job changes. In this regard, it has become even more difficult for a modern school graduate to adapt to new conditions. A high school student should have such qualities as initiative, entrepreneurship, independence, competitiveness, efficiency, non-standard thinking.
