The article analyzes the psychological and pedagogical possibilities of using visual aids in teaching a foreign language at the level of basic general education. The article deals with specific psychological and pedagogical conditions aimed at the formation of speaking skills with the help of visual aids. The author draws a conclusion about the high effectiveness of visual aids in teaching foreign language speaking at this stage of school education.
