Psychological and pedagogical support of college students in electronic learning

The concept of “psychological and pedagogical support” is analyzed. Specific characteristics of electronic learning that can be both positive and negative pedagogically and psychologically are discussed. To solve the problems that are encountered in learning process psychological and pedagogical support of students in six areas is proposed: study of individual personal specifics, development level of psychic features and qualities, interpersonal communication specifics of electronic learners; helping students to develop, implement and correct their individual learning paths; providing psychological comfort during electronic learning; formation and development of information and communication competences; development of electronic teaching package to include psychological mechanisms providing high motivation level and realization of personality and activity as well as problem approaches to teaching/ learning. Appropriate forms, methods and tools for teachers and psychologists are proposed.
