Materials of researches of intellectual (cognitive) defect formation in children and adolescents with endogenous mental pathology are presented. There were described results of comparison psychometric diagnostics of IQ at children and adolescents with endogenous pathology and normal ones. The analysis of implementation of the test of Wechsler groups of children and adolescents in norm of development and at pathology showed existence of lower indicators of IQ at endogenous mental pathology of a schizophrenic range. The special analysis of indicators of IQ (Verbal Scale, Performance Scale, and also Full Scale) in clinical group showed distinctions in formation of the cognitive defect at children and teenagers with the diagnosis "children-onset schizophrenia" (F20.8 in Russian version of ICD-10) and "schizotypal disorder (F21.x)." For group with the diagnosis children's schizophrenia were characteristic evenly lowered indicators of IQ (Verbal Scale, Performance Scale, Full Scale). It gives the grounds to consider the nascent defect in children-onset schizophrenia as defect of oligofrenic type.
