Psychoneuroimmunomodulating effect of complex therapy of neurotic disorders with use of heterosuggestive psychomuscular relaxation

Immunological and psychological examination of 57 patients with neurotic disorders has been carried out. Neurotic manifestations were determined by crisis situation in the family conditioned by the problem of divorce. In the process of complex therapy of patients with neurotic disorders technique “Heterosuggestive training of psychomuscular relaxation” (HSPMR) with positive emotional imagination toward recovery has been used. Analysis of results of investigation, carried out after treatment, has shown positive dynamic of subpopulations of T-lymphocytes, concentration of serum immunoglobulins. During psychological examination (Many-sided Method of Investigation of Personality - MMIP) after therapy, increase in mental efficiency, recovery of energy for regulatory mental processes has been found that was confirmed by increase of sthenic characteristics of MMIP profile and decrease of indices of asthenic register. Therapeutic complex including technique HSPMR exerts psychoneuroimmunomodulating effect and may be used both in therapy of neurotic disorders and for prevention of stress-induced immune disturbances.
