Psychosemantic approach to studying young people's representations of politics

The results of a preparatory phase of exploring representations of young people at the age of 20 to 30 years living in the territory of the Udmurt Republic about politics are presented. The content analysis of verbal associations given to the word «politics» allowed us to reveal that they are mainly neutral. Based on the obtained data, a research tool for application at the following research phase will be developed, that is semantic differential which is one of the main methods within psychosemantic approach.
