Psychosocial treatment of patients with co-morbid mental disorders

This review covers basic modern trends of psychosocial care for mentally ill who abuse alcohol and drugs. Psychosocial therapy in this group should be based on incremental interventions assertive outreach, motivational intervention, individual and family counseling, social support interventions and long term. It is mandatory to monitor interventions.
