Psychosocial factors of formation of non-psychotic mental disorders in patients with gastrointestinal diseases

Psychosocial factors of formation of non-psychotic mental disorders in patients with gastrointestinal diseases have been studied. The investigation has been entered by 140 patients (middle age 46,4±10,4 years) of Borderline States Department, from them 83 patients diagnosed as having duodenal ulcer (DU) and 57 patients with irritable bowel syndrome. In mental status of patients, we revealed neurotic, stress-related, affective disorders, organic asthenic and personality disorders. Analysis of structure of psychotraumatic factors affecting pathogenetic mechanisms of development of psychosomatic diseases has been carried out what should be taken into account during carrying out the complex therapy and prevention of co-morbid mental and gastrointestinal pathology under conditions of primary healthcare.
